Multimodal and Mixed-Mode Shipping
By air, rail or truck? One means of carriage may not be enough to deliver your cargo. ICF Group will procure multimodal transportation, offering the customer several shipping options to choose from. Once we finalize the best route in consultation with the customer, we will obtain approvals for every leg of the route from the relevant authorities, and proceed to issue the necessary shipping, customs and financial documentation. We will also take care of cargo packing, storage, insurance and handling for you.

Key point: change of carriage mode
When cargos are transshipped from one type of transport to another, it is important that our field managers are on hand to supervise. It is also important to plan the transshipment procedure carefully in advance to rule out extra costs. In this, all parties to the project must stay focused and coordinate with each other.
