Shipping by Rail
ICF Group ships cargoes to all destinations accessible by rail in Russia, the former Soviet Union, Eastern, Central and Western Europe. We have an open-ended agreement with October Railways and direct contracts with other divisions of Russian Railways. Relying on our solid ties with major rail forwarders and our own representative office with October Railways, we are in a great position to configure the right mix of railway vehicles and make them available on time. Our rail shipping operations are approved through to destination without fail, and we monitor shipment progress online.

A deal not to be missed: one-way ticket!
ICF Group offers attractive rates on cargo shipping using its own fleet of railway vehicles, on a case-by-case basis, where the consignor does not have to pay for an empty back run.

At the loading docks of the Vitebsk Branch of October Railways, ICF Group employs its own teams of certified strappers and stowage specialists in loading and unloading.

ICF Group uses its own railway vehicles, or leases rolling stock from Russian Railways. When needed, we can also lease our railway vehicles to you.

All the railway vehicles operated by ICF Group meet the requisite standards and technical requirements. Cargoes are loaded in accordance with the Cargo Stowage Procedures for Rail Transportation.

ICF Group will provide transit declaration for cargoes traveling via the former Soviet Union outside Russia. We will also procure loading/unloading services at border crossing points and points where rail track width changes.

Working very closely with the Russian Ministry of Railways IT Center, ICF Group has access to the latest updates on your shipment progress at any time.
